About Chickerell Library

Chickerell Community Library started in 2013 after the county was going to close it along with 19 others. Volunteers got together and saved it. The county provides the system and equipment but the volunteers run the library.

The new allotment site is about to open. With that in mind, our theme of the month is gardening and in particular growing your own produce. We have several books that are about allotments. Come and take one out so that you can read up before you start planting.

New Secretary needed.

2016 Review.

2016 was a good year for our library. For varying reasons, we have had various changes of personnel but the team continues to work well.
